Wedding at the Farm {By the Girl With Five Brothers}

My brother Danny is a fantastic guy. In fact, I have four others just like him. Yes, you heard me right...five brothers and no sisters! Can you imagine what it was like for me growing up? When my Mom and Dad would got out, leaving my oldest brother in charge? The second that front door clicked shut, my brothers were wild boys. Occasionally greeting Mom and Dad at the door with a new hole in the drywall.

But they are great guys. All five of them. And though you may not always know it when you are growing up, you see it clearly when you grow up yourself. What makes they even more special is that all five of them now have wonderful, beautiful ladies in their lives.  And that always makes a better man, doesn't it? My Mom did a great job raising boys, and I can only hope I'm doing the same with my three.

And if you are out there thinking you'll never meet the person of your dreams, don't give up. It took my brother a little while to find her, but I'm serious when I say that when two people are meant to be together, He will make it happen!

They were married on a sunny gorgeous day, vows overlooking the lake. The reception took place in a large pavilion located on the farm. My brother and his wife handmade, re-purposed and re-used (consignment) most things used in their decorations, giving it a vintage-y rustic farm look. They are pretty damn creative if you can't tell from these pictures. I can't wait to see what they do to their home!

The old window panes and screen door held laminated wedding pictures of parents and grandparents.
Handmade burlap banners showed guests where to find their drinks and snacks.
I just loved all the small touches that showed off their personalities!
Like color coordinated Croc sneakers for the wedding party!

These handmade hearts made out of paper scraps made beautiful place cards.

Simple flowers and centerpieces were perfect for the venue. And the Mad Libs at each place setting will be so much fun for them to read after their honeymoon!

 These were almost too pretty to eat. I scarfed down two Peanut Butter Cup ones.
Okay...maybe three. And maybe one White on White, but that cannot be confirmed.

And a sunset to boot. It doesn't get any better than that, does it?
Congratulations Dan & Kelly!
XOXO
