Bridal Shower Gift {a powder room theme}

My brother Danny is getting married! Growing up, I knew he was going to be a great catch. He's one of the kindest people I know. His fiance is someone whom makes you feel like you've known her forever. She's the perfect fit for him and they are going to have the most wonderful life together!

It's getting close to their nuptials, so we are celebrating "The Mrs." with a bridal shower! It's being hosted by her family, but we were invited to help out with a couple games and dessert.

But first, it's shopping time! I like to shop from the registry early so I have lots of options for putting together a gift for the bride-to-be. I was happy to see the bathroom towels still available, so this time, it's gonna be a powder room know, because bathroom theme just doesn't sound proper or ladylike. ;)

I grabbed all of the towels off the registry as well as some bathroom accessories. Here, a laundry basket makes a great "gift bag" to hold it all together. I wrapped the accessories in some white paper, tied them off with a ribbon, and tucked them into the basket.

I used the same ribbon to weave around the basket, leaving enough length for a bow in front. I scribbled a little note on the back of the invitation, punched a hole in the corner and used some old scrapbook tool to round the edges. I looped it through the ribbon before tying off into a pretty bow.

  1. I love your gift wrapping/gift pairing abilities. You are like a sommelier for gift pairing.

  2. This is a great and wonderful idea. :)

  3. Great idea! For my future sister-in-law's bridal shower, I bought a large trash can and filled it with every cleaning supply they could have possibly needed.

Thanks for taking the time to read and leave notes :)
