Dwell on Friday {eleven}


Hey you!

It's.........Friday!!!
Weekend Joys:

FINALLY turning my dirty dishwater blond into fancy blond. So excited!
Aside from that appointment, no schedule to follow!
72 on Saturday. 80 on Sunday. In April. Enough said.

Now now, let's talk about the party!

Double feature this week! A very talented Emily over at 52 Mantels made this cute spring wall art with some of her favorite things in mind: "dollar bins, repurposed art, cupcakes, and springtime."



And here's her lovely spring mantel. Makes me want a fireplace SO SO bad. 

Well.........

Maybe not NOW but come fall I'll want one REAL REAL bad.


 Katie at Pincushion Creations made these Blooming Easter Eggs.  She's really got a lot of creative juices flowing! I love these!


Oh and don't let all that crafting make you forget about dessert. Because this cake has it all. And by all I mean chocolate! Check out this Crazy Chocolate Wasted Cake by The DIY Dreamer. Are you drooling?

  7. I wanted to wait to make a cake, but spent the whole day yesterday working on my chairs!!!
    I am still learning to blog, so I don't know yet how to put your button on my page,
    but your blog is on my list! I want to learn how to post "today partying at...(buttons)"...
    I am going to research that for next Friday party!!!

I've always wanted one, but there's never been a good place to put one in any of the homes we've lived in. (sigh) I've seriously thought about getting an old salvaged mantelpiece and creating a "faux fireplace"... Maybe one of these days. :~) Thanks so much for hosting the party!
